What is Salicylic Acid? 
Salicylic acid is a beta hydroxy acid found naturally in the bark of the willow tree. It stimulates the skin’s natural renewal processes to promote skin regeneration, resulting in a more youthful appearance while also combating acne and the buildup of excess oil on the skin’s surface.

How does Salicylic Acid work? 
Salicylic acid works by dissolving the “glue” that binds the dead cells together on the surface of the skin and get rid of the dead, dull-looking cells from the skin surface, revealing the fresh cells underneath. Several scientific studies have shown that green tea is effective for the treatment of acne. Dr. Jennifer Gan-Wong from the Memorial Medical Center in the Philippines conducted a study which showed that 3% green tea cream is comparable to 4% benzoyl peroxide in the treatment of moderate to severe acne but causes fewer side effects than benzoyl peroxide. Recent study shows that green tea is effective to reduce excessive sebum secretion, which is associated with pore enlargement leading to acne. What is Rosehip seed oil? 
Rosehip seed oil is a herbal product that contains essential fatty acids (EFAs), vitamin C, and natural tretinoin—a derivative of vitamin A and well-known topical medication for acne. Rosehip seed oil contains both linoleic fatty acid (Omega 6) and linolenic fatty acids (Omega 3) which are the EFAs that are important skin nutrients for the rebirth of healthy skin membranes, and for the regeneration and repair of the acne scarred skin. EFAs also reduce the pore size thereby are great help in people with large pores. In 1983, the University of Santiago conducted research on 180 individuals with extensive facial scarring, acne scarring, deep wrinkles, UV damage, radiation damage, burn scars, surgical scars, premature aging, dermatitis, and other skin related problems. The results put forth that rosehip seed oil regenerated the skin, reduced acne scars and wrinkles, prevented the advancement of wrinkles and aging, and helped skin to regain its natural color and tone.
