Lactic Acid 50% Peel Enhanced with Arbutin & Kojic Acid (Medical Grade Peel)

Porcelain Skin50% Lactic Acid Medical Grade Enhanced Peel is specially formulated with ultrahigh pure lactic Acid. It is further enhanced with natural skin lightening ingredients, such as Arbutin, Kojic Acid, Licorice and Mulberry Extract, and much much more…which provide a more healthy and brightened skin appearance. For safety, our advanced formula has been buffered at pH 2.8. It is a mild exfoliant suitable for most clients, including beginners. Chemical peels performed in a medical spa or dermatologist’s office can cost between $150 -$300 per treatment. This is the same product used in spas and dermatologist offices around the world.

What is Lactic Acid?
Lactic acid is an alpha hydroxyl acid (AHA) derived from sour milk. It is a non-irritating rapid exfoliate. Lactic Acid is recommended for those who are new to peel and exfoliating agents in skin care products, as well as those who have used other exfoliates for a long time and want to improve results. It is ideal for sensitive skin or skin unable to tolerate glycolic acid. Benefit of Lactic acid includes helping to eliminate germs, toxins and dead skin cells from the skin’s surface. It also helps to maintain the skin’s pH factor. Lactic acid occurs naturally in the skin and is a primary component of the skins natural moisturizing factor and so less harsh and more moisturizing than Glycolic Acid skin peels.

How does Lactic Acid work?
The use of Lactic Acid will help to produce more vibrant and smoother-looking skin by increasing skin cell turnover on the skin surface. In deeper layers beneath the skin’s surface, new collagen and elastin will be stimulated and the skin will become thicker, tighter and more firm. Lactic acid is ideal for those whose skin dries out easily due to its ability to draw moisture toward the surface of the skin. Lactic acid can effectively combat acne by killing germs and removing toxins on the surface of skin and by breaking down the dry, dead, glued-together surface sebum that makes skin look dull and clogs pores. This leaves the skin with a wonderful smooth and clear complexion. The skin will look more youthful and vibrant with continued use as directed.

What is Arbutin ?
Arbutin is a naturally occurring -d-glucopyranoside derivative of hydroquinone. The hydroquinone glucoside is a botanically derived compound found in certain plant species, such as bearberry, cranberries, blueberries, wheat, pears and the fresh fruit of the California buckeye, Aesculus California. A recent study indicated that arbutin inhibits melanin synthesis by inhibition of tyrosinase activity. This appears to be due to the inhibition of melanosomal tyrosinase activity and Pmel-17 protein at noncytotoxic concentrations rather than the suppression of this enzyme’s synthesis and expression.

What is Kojic Acid?
Kojic acid is a by-product in the fermentation process of malting rice for use in the manufacturing of sake, the Japanese rice wine. It has been proven by many researches that kojic acid is effective for inhibiting melanin production.

What is Licorice Extract?
Licorice root extracts component substances lend themselves to products that focus on anti-aging, rosacea, pigmented, sensitive and acne prone skin. These substances include: Glabridin which is an incredible skin whitening agent, it is enormously helpful in decreasing melanin and re-balancing the dermal cells; Licochalcone has amazingly effective anti-acne properties that regulate oil production and eliminate bacteria on the skin; Stearyl glycyrrhetinate has immensely soothing anti-inflammatory properties, which are perfect for sensitive skin.

Why buy from Naked Face?
Our Porcelain Skin Lactic Acid peels are made from high purity, medical grade ingredients. We do not add any unnecessary fragrances, preservatives and colors.

Will my skin “peel”?
Each individual responds to peel differently. While many people do notice visible peeling or sloughing frequently, exfoliation is at a cellular level and not apparent to the naked eye. However, the peels will create a tighter and firmer complexion and appearance. Each individual’s different responses are related to skin’s physiology, hormones, environment and skin hydration. Reduce the contact time of you next application if you notice frosting or reddening of the skin.

How many peels are in each bottle?
The bottle contains 2 oz or 60 ml lactic acid peel. The exactly number of peels varies depending on the area and applicationof the peel.
