    Finally!!!

    Four years ago I went on a trip to St Lucia and came back with two dark spots above my lip. I was very self conscious about it, and tried a few creams, but it seemed it was here to stay. During and immediately following my pregnancy they became very distinct. I was looking into laser treatments when I decided to give this a shot. I have had it 9 days, and I missed a couple nights because I was out of town. The difference is remarkable. I posted before and after pics, the before was from January (I didn’t have a more recent clear pic, mostly because I’ve been hiding from the camera the past four years). The after is after 7 days of use. I had some slight discomfort this morning (I apply right before bed), but it wasn’t bad and resolved quickly. Certainly worth the results in my mind!!!

    Highly recommend this product!

    Several years ago I developed melasma on my upper lip and it continued to get worse. Admittedly the darkening was not as bad as many others experience but it was enough to make me very self conscious and I would never leave the house without makeup. I tried a prescription given to me from my dermatologist and it caused my skin to burn and peel horribly with no better results afterwards. I also tried some natural remedies found online with no success. Reading the reviews on this product gave me hope and the price tag made it worth trying out, compared with many of the other products I had considered. I did get peeling a few days after starting to use it but it was manageable and not much less embarrassing than the darkening so I powered through. I would say that after a week, the peeling had stopped and I had noticeable results. Because I was nervous about the peeling I read in other reviews and also because I tend to convince myself I see results when there are none, I decided to only try it out on one half of my upper lip. This way I could compare to the untreated side to see if it really did look better and also so, if the product made things worse, it would only be on one side and not my whole upper lip. Unfortunately I didn’t think to take a total ‘before’ photo, but I did take one before I started treating the other side (first photo). These are pretty bad quality (and unflattering) photos but hopefully you can see the difference. I have since treated the other side with the same success (second photo). The darkening is not 100% gone but it’s to the point where I can now go out without makeup and not even think about it. I know it may not work for everyone but it definitely worked for me. I should also mention that while I was using this product, I also became much more diligent about applying sunscreen daily so it’s possible that the sunscreen helped with my results as well. (I recommend Elta MD Broad Spectrum SPF 41 sunscreen). I applied the product every night before bed daily until I felt I didn’t need it anymore. Now I only use it on occasion when I start to see some darkening creep back in. Try not to be too discouraged by the initial peeling because it will be totally worth it.

    5 weeks porcelain review. I have had melasma for the papastyears, and I have visit many dermatologists, I tried many different creams ( obagi, meladerm, triluma etc.) nothing worked I tried IPL more than $700 didn’t work, actually made it worst. I was very depress. I was covering my face with tonts of concelers and make up collection. I started using porcelain on 11/20/17 at night. After the 3 night my face was red, melasma look darker and my skin look flaky and TERRIBLE. Gave my skin 4 days break to recover. I’m a cream colored black woman who developed this condition after menopause (just guessing at the cause because it might just be coincidental to menopause). Anyway, this skin condition has been traumatizing for me after having peaches and cream skin tone for most of my life. My NIGHT TIME skin care regimen is:

    1. I clean my face faithfully with my vitamin C facial cleanser using my Clarisonic.
    2. I rinse, rinse, rinse, rinse, rinse my skin! Then I rinse some more.
    3. I apply two pumps of the Procelain Skin Whitening Serum – always on damp skin.

I always give a new product 90 days to show me what it can or cannot deliver.     What happened to your face?

    I use this along with the Vitamin C serum and all I can tell you is that what other people have to say about my face speaks for itself. After not having seen my daughter in a number of months, she commented on my face. She was insistent that I had work done. I had not. This is a very inexpensive way to keep your face looking fresh and plump. Use this every day and I promise you will see a difference (if you don’t — other people will).

    I first got this product about four years ago as I had melasma due to exposing my skin to the sun after waxing. If you have sun prune melasma you know how embarrassing it is. These product faded the dark spots at about 60% they ended up almost disappearing over the course of three years I did not use this product all the time I was very cautious of causing further damage with sewn exposure exposure. I recommend you only use it during winter days and you make sure to wear a lot of sunscreen in the daytime.also I did not use it every day maybe every other day for a couple weeks and then take a break.

    I’m a fair-medium skinned 40-something woman and this totally worked for melasma on my upper lip within just a couple of weeks! This was the first product to do that without making my skin have a reaction. Obviously, the key to melasma control is to stay out of the sun or wear a super high level spf….but as an avid outdoorsman, this has certainly helped keep it under control. Totally worth trying for the modest price! I’ve spent far more on products that have done a lot less.

    Worth the patience

    I am the cliched person who reads all/relies on reviews but never leaves them, but this is the exception.

    I have incredibly sensitive skin and melasma—not a fun combination. While, full disclaimer, I am also adjusting my hormones with BCP and Spiro, both of which I was on before the dark spots issue, this serum has been an absolute godsend!

    I have been using Retin-A for years. It helps with a lot of things, but I developed melasma on my upper lip, tip of my nose, and right at the brow sometime last summer. I have tried every brand name product, pushing through the adjustment period my skin needed, with no results.

    When I started using this, I could tell immediately that it was targeting exactly what I’d hoped it would. It took me awhile to figure out the best way to use it on my sensitive skin—and trust me too much on wet, poorly hydrated skin will leave you with chemical burn if you are not careful—but there is a way and it is worth it.

    For me, I follow a few simple rules. Let your face dry after washing, 20 minutes or so. I hydrate right after washing so I wait a bit longer. Apply one, MAYBE two pumps all over. I hit the target issues first and spread out from there. Gently exfoliate in the morning. Wait until you’ve cleansed and moisturized the next night to decide whether or not to reapply or wait a night or two. When I notice sensitivity, redness, peeling, etc, I wait! Even mild tingling of my lotion and I will not use for two to three nights. I too tried going all in thinking it would resolves faster and it DID NOT!

    After finding the right rhythm this has not only helped fade my melasma but has also tightened my skin, made it glow, and appear more youthful overall, and even speeds up healing when I get the one off pimple.

    I used this every night for one month and it WORKS! Every night I would put this on my spots/botches and let dry for about 15 minutes then put Vaseline over my whole face and left it on overnight. The next morning I washed my face then cream and makeup as usual. I noticed improvement in about a week and it only got better as the weeks went by. I have dealt with this for years, had peels, expensive creams prescribed and it nothing really helped. I strongly recommend this product!

    THIS STUFF WORKS!

    I have to admit, I expected to just be out 20 bucks with no result but THIS STUFF WORKS! Can you still see the spots? Yes, but I’m not even putting makeup on them anymore, that’s how much lighter they are. You have to stick with it. One large sunspot and a few small ones mostly disappeared after about 3 weeks. After 6 weeks, I’m still working on the second large one, (I made the mistake of giving that one a week off…DON”T DO THAT, it will go almost back where you started) but it is definitely getting there. This is an at-home chemical peel. I won’t say it hurts, but it does tingle strongly for maybe 10 minutes. If you get impatient and pull off the dead skin too soon, that will definitely hurt, so just leave it alone and it will fall off on its own. There is some redness during the process, but that goes away after you are finished.

    I normally don’t write a review unless it’s terrible (so others don’t make the the mistake to purchase) or really good. But your product is FANTASTIC. I’m 51 and always struggled with hyperpigmentation after the acne has healed. It’s fast acting and I’m guessing it’s because it packs a power house punch of ingredients. The hydroquinone, glycolic acid and kojic acid is an amazing combo. I’m looking forward to having the FIRST TIME EVER of clear skin this summer. I’m almost there.     Removed freckle on nose after a few days.

    So this product works for freckles/skin damage caused by the sun. I applied the serum more than once a day using a Q-Tip (to isolate the peel to ONLY the affected area) on the freckle on the bridge of my nose. (not recommended by the instructions, but I am a guy and impatient.) I have had this freckle for at least 5 years, I can’t remember when it appeared but it always annoyed me. Within one week’s time, the freckle was peeled away (did not bleed and was very minimal discomfort, think tingling.) It removed only the TOP layer of skin which helps avoid scarring. I used EMUAID to reduce redness and scar potential every day after the freckle was peeled away and these are the results after a week. Sorry for the low-quality pictures the Pixel 5 still has some whack camera sensors, but as you can see the freckle is GONE and only light redness remains. This redness is slowly fading with every additional day. I stopped using the peel immediately after the freckled skin peeled away. This works and I am stoked and feel more confident without that weird mark on my nose.

    Magic in a bottle!!

    I have only tried this product less then a few weeks on my face and I can already see a difference. I have some melasma on my left cheek. It’s light becauseI have spent hundreds of dollars $$ from doing an IPL, obagi radiance peel twice, microneedling, Vi peel, LED light, microdermabrasion, glycolic peel. I’ve done alot. They have helped. Lightened and made my skin look nice and refreshed. Faded the melasma. But not completely gone. And is a lot lighter. This has been over a 5 year span. That’s when I first noticed my melasma one day on both cheeks. Right side gone the left side still has it but like i said it’s a lot lighter.
    I can tell in the little time I been using this that my melasma is almost gone now. I’m impressed and will continue to use. I can’t wait till another few weeks when my melasma will no longer be there. Don’t forget sunscreen is very important. I use it religiously. Never a day without it. SPF 50

    After only 2 days the dark mark below my eye is starting to “peel”. Not so much on the birthmark but that’s on my foot where the skin is thicker/tougher than my face.

    My only complaint (and warning) is that the little “pump” applicator is impossible to control and squirts out about 10x more than what I need so now I just unscrew the cap and use the plastic tube to dab a little on my face – whatever you do DO NOT point this pump at your face and try to apply it that way, you don’t want this stuff in your eye!!!

    It works kind of like a peel

    Having purchased many over the counter dark-spot correctors, I admit, I was skeptical purchasing this product. I had several dark spots on my nose and face, and wanted to “lighten” them. Not one of the over the counter products can compare to this. I have been using the product for two weeks now and have noticed considerable results. It works kind of like a peel. After applying the product overnight, the next day there was noticeable flaking of the skin, (like a sunburn), I simply followed all the directions. Washing with a mild face scrub. After the third day, the skin peeled off and the dark spots were practically gone. The product does however, leave a bit of skin irritation, light pink, again like a sunburn. But I simply use a blemish cover on the area. It heals in just a couple of days. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this product and would highly recommend it over spending $$$$$ on drug store products that do not work.

    Helping with melasma

    I have been using this product for the last 3 weeks along with ACV and my melasma has lightened quite a bit and I am very pleased.
    I also use sunscreen everyday, but the other lightening creams didn’t have the effect that this one has had so far, even when I was very religious with sunscreen and avoiding the sun at all costs.
    I still need makeup but not as much as I did before.

    I had results in a day or two. The brown spots on my face seemed to dry over and the skin there lightly peeled. The spots are lighter, but are still visible. I have been using it now for 2 months.

    This works.

    The way that this worked was that it would darken the skin at first, which was perhaps the result of the upper layer of skin dying. At this time, the serum use was put on hold and when the skin was left to peel off on its own. Everyday when the serum was in or out of use, sunscreen was always applied. After the skin peeled off, the skin underneath was very similar to the surrounding skin. It was ever so slightly darker, but was difficult to tell unless examined carefully and up close.
